Directions
1. Step
In a mixing bowl, combine butter (100 g), salt (a pinch), sugar (4 tsp), egg, flour (230 g), and baking powder (1 tsp). Mix until a smooth dough forms.

Transfer the dough into a 22 cm (8.5-inch) baking dish. Let it rest and rise for 15–20 minutes.

In a hot pan, cook 3 sour apples (300 g) with 4 tsp of sugar, cinnamon (to taste), and 2 tbsp of water. Stir and simmer for 5–8 minutes until softened.

Spread the cooked apple mixture over the dough. Slice the remaining 2 apples into thin pieces and arrange them on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes. Once done, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle with additional powdered sugar before serving.
