Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, sugar, salt, rice oil, rice flour, almonds, baking powder, and milk. Mix thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.

  2. Lightly grease a small round cake pan (7.5 cm in diameter) with oil. Transfer the batter into a piping bag or polymer bag, cut a corner, and pipe it into the cake pan evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for 15–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  3. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Dip or spread the melted chocolate over the cakes, then place them on a tray lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate until the chocolate sets.
