Directions
1. Step
In a pan, heat 150 g of liquid cream, 180 g of chocolate, and 25 g of butter over low heat until smooth and melted. Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl, and refrigerate to cool.
2. Step
Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. In a bowl, whisk 5 egg yolks with 90 g of sugar until creamy. Add 1 tbsp of vanilla, 60 g of cream, 90 g of flour, 3 g of baking powder, 50 g of melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth. In a separate bowl, beat 5 egg whites with 30 g of sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
3. Step
Pour the batter into a lined baking tray, spreading evenly into a single layer. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
4. Step
Once baked, allow the cake to cool and divide it into three equal layers. Spread the chilled chocolate mixture onto one layer, stack another layer on top, and repeat. Decorate the top layer with chocolate vermicelli. Cut evenly, serve, and enjoy!
