Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well. Add the melted butter, yogurt, cornstarch, flour, and baking powder. Stir until a smooth dough forms. Shape the dough into small balls, wrap them in plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.

  2. Peel and chop the apples into small pieces. In a pan, cook the apples lightly with sugar, cinnamon, butter, and a squeeze of lemon juice until softened. Set aside to cool.

  3. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Take the dough balls out of the refrigerator and flatten each one into a disc.
