Directions
1. Step
In a small bowl, combine 50 ml of water, 5 g of dry yeast, and 1 tsp of sugar. Stir well and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy.

In a separate bowl, mix the butter, 60 g of sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Add the eggs and mix again until smooth. Pour in the prepared yeast mixture and mix well. Gradually add 360 g of flour, mixing continuously. If needed, add a little more flour and knead by hand until a soft dough forms.
3. Step
Roll out the dough to a uniform thickness. Cut into 1 cm-wide strips. Sprinkle sugar over the dough. Cut into small pieces and place them on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.
4. Step
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the cookies for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
