Directions
-
In a bowl, combine the egg, salt, kefir (yogurt), and vegetable oil. Mix well. Add the apple cider vinegar, corn starch, flour, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly with your hands until the dough is smooth. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 10–15 minutes.
-
Blend the almonds in a blender to create almond powder. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball into a thin round sheet.
-
Cut the rolled-out dough into smaller pieces. Sprinkle almond powder onto each piece, roll them up, and apply ghee on the surface. Place the pieces on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 165°C (329°F) for 30 minutes.
-
In a saucepan, heat sugar, water, and a slice of lemon. Simmer for 15 minutes until it forms a light syrup. Remove the baked dough from the oven and drizzle the syrup over the top.
