Directions
1. Step
In a bowl, combine 1 egg, 25g of sugar, 145g of milk, and 3g of yeast. Mix well using a spatula. Add 300g of wheat flour and 3g of salt. Mix until a dough starts to form. Knead the dough thoroughly, incorporating 20g of unsalted butter during the process, until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. Step
Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape using a rolling pin. In a separate bowl, mix 15g of unsalted butter, 50g of cream cheese, and 12g of sugar until smooth. Spread the filling evenly over the dough using a butter brush.
3. Step
Cut the dough into small pieces and arrange them in a greased cake tray. Cover the tray with plastic wrap and let the dough proof for 40 minutes.
4. Step
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the dough for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool, and serve.
