Directions
1. Prepare the Coleslaw
Cut half the cabbage, separate the leaves, wash and finely shred. Peel and finely slice the carrot. Combine in a bowl.
2. Make the Dressing and Mix
In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour over the cabbage and carrot mix. Mix well and refrigerate for 2–3 hours.
3. Assemble the Sandwich
Boil the sausages. Slice the bread. Place lettuce on each slice, followed by chilled coleslaw, then the sausage. Drizzle with a bit of mayonnaise and serve.
