Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, orange zest, and dry yeast. Add the slightly warm milk, egg, 00 flour, salt, and butter. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

  2. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and a cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. Once risen, divide the dough into portions, roll each into a ball, and flatten slightly. Place a spoonful of hazelnut cream in the center of each, then fold and seal the edges to form a ball again.

  3. Beat the extra egg and brush it over the dough balls. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
