Directions
1. Step
Cut the tofu into large squares. Thinly slice the garlic cloves and diagonally slice the red pepper or dried chili.

Heat a pan with cooking oil over low heat. Add the tofu and fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In another pan, heat some cooking oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add the red pepper and stir-fry together. Once the garlic is fully cooked, return the tofu to the pan and briefly fry to absorb the flavors.

Push the tofu to the sides of the pan, leaving space in the center. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, fish sauce, oyster sauce, gochujang, and water. Stir to combine and cook over low heat until the sauce is well blended.
