Directions
-
In a bowl, combine 180 ml water, 3 g yeast, and 13 g sugar. Stir until the yeast dissolves. Add 300 g all-purpose flour or wheat flour to the mixture. Mix thoroughly with a spatula to form a soft dough. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
-
Finely chop 120 g pecans or walnuts and set them aside. Heat a pan over medium heat and add 100 g oil. Saute 10 g chopped onion in the oil until fragrant. Add the chopped nuts to the pan, sprinkle with 3 g salt, and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Roll out the dough on a floured surface using a rolling pin. Spread the prepared nut mixture evenly over the dough. Fold and press the dough as needed (refer to the video for technique).
-
Lightly brush a pan with oil and preheat it over low heat. Place the prepared dough into the pan. Fry on low heat until a golden-red coating forms on the surface. Remove from the pan and let it cool slightly before serving.
